ok due to popular demand from shaolin i have decided to dedicate this post to her.

Well.. i just started sch in accountancy at singapore poly 2 weeks back. nice people, nice lecturers and best of all now at least i have something to do besides sitting at home getting pwned by DJ max black square lolol.

Besides sch, i've been trying to set up my stuff for recording to try and get back into playing guitar but everything seems to be SPOILT!!! CBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB!!! ARGHHHH!!!! frustrating man.

ok la i think its time i go and either troubleshoot my recording stuff or practise some principles of accounts :DDD guai kia siol!

Spinnovex '09

so our group was volunteered for spinnovex '09. initially we were all quite hesitant about taking part cos of the extra workload but after nag insisted we take part we had no choice but to do it. now that its over, i can say that it was quite a good experience where we get to share our findings with people who knows practically nothing about contact lenses besides the fact that it fits over your eye and helps you see better. we also got to meet dear hui ying's boss from ciba hehehe. we are also getting a meagre $2/hour for our hard work in preparing the posters and all which im still eagerly waiting for (some extra cash is always welcome ;D) whatever it is, it sure was a good experience and next up is our fyp presentation which is due sometime in march i think.

Decided to start my guitar lessons along with some music theory just to pass the time. Guitar teacher got me to play some simple pluckin stuff to get myself started. DAMN! Talking about guitar lesson i forgot to ask him about prelude in C. ahhhhh nvm la next time and i'll bug him about it when i see him online. hehehehe. anyway, i better get started on either practising the guitar or on the music theory excercises before i forget about it haha. As anyone who reads this blog can tell, its been over a year since my last post. And as most of my buddies would know, the past year has been, i'd dare say, the most trying year in my entire life. Having to survive an open brain surgerey, relearn to walk and now be constantly told by the lecturers to wait and 'recover more' before starting clinic in school has got me wondering when i would eventually graduate from DOPT or if i'd even graduate from dopt.

However, looking on the bright side, I've been exempted from national service, which gives me time to slowly relearn to play my guitar even though i feel like im starting to lose interest in it, i mean, imagine having to start all the way from square one. Its sibei sian lor, plus the fucking tremor in my right hand just makes things worse. I can't even feed myself or write properly with my right hand. So, to get myself started on the guitar, I'm trying to tab and relearn J.S. Bach's 'Prelude in C', of which I had a video of myself playing pre-op on youtube.

Whatever it is, life has to go on and I'm truely grateful that life can go on after the damned surgery and bleed and I'm really hungry now so I've gtg grab a bite or I might just starve to death.

Today had our PTN at sentosa. We were told to meet at 9, but as usual la, better late than early. hehehehhe. Actually i overslept la. Didn't want to go, but since this round our brudders were organisers so must show some support la. heh. So keeping to old sec4G traditions, i met lao da and shao lin at harbourfront at... er.. 12? lol.

Yeah so we made our way down to tanjong beach to meet the rest of the DOPT. By the time we reach timing very good just nice to play game. hahaha. I think they played games earlier too but ben says it was booooooring.

First game we played was captain's balls, with fruits. Very sinful sial, waste fruits. Dunno if they have any idea how many people in africa we kill for the fruit. But they take and throw around. tsk tsk but what the heck, not like if you stop throwing the fruits around the lion will stop eating the deer right?

So after that we play volleyball. 1 team 7 people, 6 people root to the ground, yuan zhi serve. No rally, no match. Pwned the other team. buahahahhaha. Then play alex and joshua's lame telematch. Got so much flour in my mouth man, and the bloody balloons were so hard to blow sial.

Wah then the exciting part come last. Play water bombbbbbbbbs! wwwwwoooooohooo. Supposed to prevent your newspaper from getting wet. While the other team was strategizing we were in the sea wetting our own teammates already! TK!!! HAHAHHAA. Damn high. THEN while we were all throwing water around, throw throw throw throw throw, then 'plooooop' shao lin fell into the sea! HAHAHAHAHHAHA DAMN FUNNY!!

Yeah and i'm lazy to blog about the rest already. And regarding the title, what do you think can be done with flour, salt water and eggs at the beach? hehehehe slowly think lor. out~

Why we need 20 gigabytes in our mp3 player?

Today, i will be discussing a topic which i hold very close to my heart, why we need an mp3 player which can hold at least 20 gigabytes worth of songs, equivalent to almost a thousand songs! 4 of such mp3 players used to its capacity could bring down the whole fucking entire music industry! *BWAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA*

Okay so back on topic, why is a 20gb mp3 player needed? Some may say that you probably won't be able to listen to every song, much less fill it up. I say you should take your 128mb ipod shuffle which you won playing hyper relay and shove it up your ass, because my buttcrack can hold more mp3 files than that thing in your ass. And people with the ipod nano, you're not excused either.

Yesterday i uploaded a few albums into my phone because i thought it'd be more convienient for me to just carry my phone and still have the goodness of an mp3 player. However, i was proven wrong. I uploaded 4 albums into my phone. Today while i was deciding on what to listen to on my way back from school, i felt so constricted in making my choice.

Now on to the next group of people, those who say that those hard drive players are to big. Small then good. First i'd like to say, take that 128mb ipod shuffle hanging round your neck and shove it up your ass, ok thats better. Secondly, fuck you. And thirdly, as the old saying goes 'big then got power'(Johnny, 2005). Why big then got power you might ask, for a very simple reason. Remember that joke about why people should carry nokia 3210s to gang fights? Yupyupyup, think along those lines, but more importantly, now you can tell the fella to fuck off with Steve Vai's guitar screeching in the background!

And last but not least, the main reason why 20gb mp3 players are important is due to the sole fact that i feel my balls getting bigger with every song i upload into my player (right rynel su?). Hehehehehe.

In conclusion, everyone should convert to hard drive based mp3 players! because they pwn that ipod shuffle stuck in your arse!

today i wasted a good 3 hours watching kim sam soon and eating chilli crabs. okay la. maybe dun count the chilli crab part as a waste of time. but the korean drama part. i dunno why all these shows so addictive leh. the storyline all very generic one. come let me describe a typical korean drama storyline.

episode one: girl meets boy in unusual/embarresing/comical situation. they become friends/enemy. if they became enemies, they WILL settle their differences and become very good friends in the 7th minute and 23rd second of the 3rd episode.

episode two: second last episode: girl quarrels with boy exactly six hundred and eighty three times. however, the only make up six hundred and eighty two times. the last time is saved for the last episode.

last episode: girl makes up with boy. live happily after.

alternative ending: girl dies of terminal disease. usually leukaemia. sadly she dies bald in most show because of chemotherapy. *NOTE*the person who dies must be the female, because if the male dies, it is unromantic.*NOTE*

now afther i read my description, i realise all dramas are like that. hahahahhaha. but nevermind, its addictive, and i'm gonna finish watching kim sam soon soon. heh.

The Cynical Chef : Uncut and Uncensored

This will be the name of Rynel's new food-travel documentareality show. In the first section of the show, Rynel will travel around the world and taste the best food the world has to offer. A featured guest will follow Rynel on his journey every episode.

In the second part of the show, Rynel gets drunk. He then attempts to cook dishes, trying to imitate the featured style of that episode, which will be revealed in the forst section. He will cook 2-3 dishes each episode. The dishes will be sampled by his guests for the episode.

Burnt hair and cut or severed fingers are gaurunteed for the amusement of the audience. And as quoted by Rynel, the last dish will somehow always appear dark red in colour.

Stay tuned for more information on the series. Parties that are interested in being guests for The Cynical Chef may apply through me. You will be mentally and physically tested before you are auditioned. Cannibalism will be an advantage.

today i was bored. so i was browsing through wikipedia. i looked up a word which i always found at the top-right of musical scores while i was in the band. and i came across something very interesting.

woo. yesteray me and shawn tan were discussing about why ah bengs always go broke. so first we consider where they earn their money from.

okay. as you can see. we could think of many sources of income for ahbengs. so we started to talk about where they spend all their money. although we had many sources of income hor, we could only think of a few ways they lose their money.

so we considered of the 5 options which one will most likely make an ahbeng go broke in the shortest time.

considering the ahbeng has spent countless of hours in front of that machine, he should be quite good at it. a token should be able to last him for almost an hour on machine. take cost of a token as 5o cents, the ahbeng spends $1 per hour here, 1/3 of what he would earn at mcdonalds.
considering the ahbeng buys his cigs from uncle bob(50cents per stick) and smokes 5sticks a day, the ahbeng spends $2.50 a day, his pay for an hour at certain mcdonalds outlets.
i do not have any idea how much this would cost the ahbeng, so we shall take it as 30bucks per month.
since the ah beng goes to an ulu club which would let him in even though he's underaged, there would be no entrance fee. considering the ahbeng wants to act macho and only drinks the most expensive cocktail on the menu even though he cant stands the taste, he spends approx. $15 per shot. considering that he and his friends drink a total of 10 shots that night, he spends $150 in a day.
as most of us have noticed, ah bengs like to dye their hair very often, making sure that by the time they get arrested and thrown into jail for underaged clubbing/smoking/taking drugs/smoking in a non-smoking area/starting a fight over a game of initial d/gangfight, they would have at least had their hair dyed every colour of the rainbow, in different combinations. if i still recall from my a maths, this would mean that they would have to have their hair dyed a total of 7!=5040 times! since he would want it done before he goes into jail, which is estimated to be when he is 16(age that a teenager can be charged in court). considering he drops out in sec2(15 years old since he retained in primary6), he would only have 365 days to dye his hair 5040 times! this means, he has to dye his hair every 104.2857 minutes to be able to achieve his goal! assuming he pays $100 each round, he spends a whopping $50400 in a year!

after a long discussion and a casualty to victoria's secrets, we were able to conclude that the average ahbeng spends all his money at the hairstylist, before going to jail.

oh and by the way, our definition of an average ahbeng would be one who is sent to jail before his seventeenth birthday. if you are sent to jail after your seventeenth birthday, you are classified as an under-average ahbeng. if you are sent to the boys home when you are 14 and was transfered to changi chalet when u hit 16 and stay there til you are at least 25, you are a hardcore beng. if you are 18 years old and still not in jail, you are a wannabe beng.
